Emilio "Lenny" Escobar-Gaviria (El Patrón) was born into a broken family in the Combos (Slums) of Medellin, Columbia where He's father was Gunned down on the rooftop of the family home after refusing to surrender himself to Federal agents of the United States Government Executing a search and arrest Raid. After the passing of his father, his mother resorted to drugs neglecting young Emilio. "Lenny" was then forced to grow up quickly, raised by the filthy streets of the favellas, scratching out a living to keep himself and his mother from starving. It wasn't long before he began to make a name for himself on the streets and the remnants of He's own fathers crew (Medellin cartel) took interest in the capable teenager and attempted to recruit the young man. It was at this time his grandparents caught wind of his lifestyle and decided to intervene, sending him to distant relatives fearing he would meet a fate like that of his father.
Enter Iggy Ramirez (El Jefe) a distant cousin Living in Sinaloa Mexico, He and Lenny had a strong resemblance and soon a stronger brotherly bond. As we all know it goes without saying, old habits die hard and it took no time at all for Iggy and Lenny to start making waves in the local drug trade Smuggling weight to northern connections across the border in the U.S' Southern states of Texas and Arizona . Little did they know prosperity will come to an abrupt end when a small dispute turned into legitimate War with two brothers in a neighboring town.
The brothers Diaz and Alejandro Hernandez were caught up in their emotions (Jealousy) due to the overnight success of El Patrón and El Jefe. What started as a simple problem quickly escalated into the trading of blows. Bullets rained over the favellas of Sinaloa causing a stalemate between both parties and a halt to business. It became evident When the money stops and the blood flows both parties lose, it was in their best interest to call a sit down. And For the first time, both parties would meet. Bonding over their wish to continue business and grow their fortunes a relationship formed. Bitter rivals transitioned into an underworld stronghold of power, dominating the drug routes of northern Mexico.
Recognizing opportunity in an untapped criminal market (Sydney, Australia), the 4 makeshift brothers acquired fraudulent documents to secure visas and jobs working on a BP oil transport ship stationed in the Gulf of Mexico with a docking point in New Castle, New South Wales. In 5 weeks at sea, the men formed the foundation on which the New Medellín Cartel was born.
